How attached are you to your money?

Money is one of the most emotional elements in our lives.  Our attachment is not really about the numbers or the assets; it's about the sense of security and freedom that they bring.  Most CPAs are terrific with numbers.  They can crunch them up one side and down the other.  Ultimately, though, even the best-crunched numbers won't mean a thing to you, because they won't tell you anything about what really matters. 

At Landau Arnold Laufer, we take a different approach.  We view financial well-being as just one element of your overall well-being.  We know that, if you have it, you can focus on life.  If you don't, you?ll probably spend a lot more time worrying than you need to.  Our services are designed to help minimize worry and maximize the amount of time you can spend on what's really important to you.

• Personal financial planning.  This is where financial well-being starts.  Where would you like to be in 10 years - or 20? What major life transitions lie ahead for your family - and how will you cover the costs with minimal disruption?  We'll help you map out the whole picture and then look at that map to plot where you need to go and how you're going to get there.
• Tax services.  This is one element of finances everyone looks at.  You can do the minimum, filing your returns when they are due and paying the tax you appear to owe.  That might leave you just a little worse off than you could be, though.  The tax code is a complex set of structures that includes both penalties and opportunities.  We can help you plan ahead so you can take advantage of legal opportunities and minimize the downside risk.
